Ikeda Spa has always prized its decor with much pride, and we are not the only ones who think so. Our delicate Japanese decor and trinkets have apparently caught the eyes of many. In the past, plenty of media shows, advertisements, music videos had used our location as a background set. Most recently, the popular MediaCorp Channel 8 show “Absolutely Charming”《糊里糊涂爱上它》that ended not too long ago should still be fresh in your memory, was one of them. We had a star-struck week with celebrities you are familiar with like Elvin Ng, Rebecca Lim, Cherry Hsia, Richard Low and many more. They spent several days here at Ikeda Spa for the show’s filming. The set for the aromatherapy shop “Sweet Fragrance” owned by Song Xin Mei (Rebecca Lim) in the series was filmed right here at Ikeda Spa. Your favourite character, the fox spirit aka Hu Li Qin (Cherry Hsia) also “worked” at our spa in the series. Our staff gave them guidance on spa etiquette and some of the artistes got to try our signature massage too.

The filming took place after spa hours for 5 consecutive days. It was exciting to see the filming equipment and bright studio lights set up here with a lot of hustle and bustle happening within the film crew.
