Easy DIY Skincare Recipes From Your Own Kitchen

Here are some DIY skincare recipes you can try at home to fight against common facial woes. In this post, we will tackle 4 of the most common problems that most chicks will face.

Unsightly Facial Hair

It can get pretty disturbing and unsightly when girls have an excess of facial hair or when it starts to be obvious at the moustache area but yet, it is too much of a hassle to shave them. Try this DIY mask to help ease your burdens.

How to make your DIY skincare mask:

  1. Add the lemon into the honey and give it a good mix
  2. Apply the mask all over your face using your finger or a brush
  3. Leave it on for about 15 to 20 mins
  4. Rinse your face with lukewarm water

The traces of hydrogen peroxide in the organic honey act as a gentle lightening agent and with great portions of vitamins C from the lemon, this mask is bound to lighten your facial hair.

Grimly Blackheads and Acne

Blackheads and acne are probably the top two most annoying skin blemishes. This mask is perfect for acne-prone skin and helps to eliminate blackheads too. Baking soda is a good exfoliator and helps fight acne while the vitamins in orange has brightening properties and the acid helps tightens pores.

  2. Gently apply over face avoiding eye area
  3. Allow it to sit for 10-20 minutes and wait for mask to harden (When the mask starts to drop off, it’s time to wash them off)
  4. Wet your hands and gently scrub in circular motion for extra exfoliation
  5. Rinse off and follow up with moisturizer

Your face might be a little rosy afterwards but no worries, it will subside after some time.

You should start noticing smoother and less acne-prone skin soon! Recommended application not more than 2 times a week.
